Overview

While sun rays are the source of vitamin D needed by the body, over-exposure without sunscreen lotions can put you at a health risk. If you use sunscreen lotion, you can block the damage done by the harmful UV rays that may also trigger skin disorders.
SOHNEYA SUNSCREEN contains Octinoxate, Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Vitamin E and Titanium Dioxide, which is used to protect the skin from the harmful effects of the sun. They help to prevent sunburn and premature aging (such as wrinkles, leathery skin). Using Sohneya sunscreen on your face helps to keep your complexion even. Sun damage is one of the many causes of uneven skin tones and daily sunscreen lotion helps to prevent those effects. One of the most obvious and notable benefits of sunscreen is that it protects your skin against the sun's broad spectrum of harmful UV rays.
OXYBENZONE often found in broad-spectrum sunscreens, helps filter both UVB and UVA rays (specifically short UVA). It works as a sunscreen by absorbing UV radiation. This ingredient penetrates the skin and is also used to help other chemicals to penetrate the skin.

What is SPF?

A sunscreen's SPF number refers mainly to the amount of UVB protection it provides. UVA rays cause skin damage that leads to tanning as well as skin aging and wrinkles

Sohneya Gel SPF 50?

Ideal for all skin types including those prone to breakouts. Not only does this staple prevent your skin from damage caused by UVA and UVB rays but also triggers a repair that helps prevent signs of aging.

Directions

  • Step I: Correct amount for the face and neck is half a teaspoon (simply measure and dispense three finger lengths of the product)
  • Step II: Apply the sunscreen on all parts of the face
  • Step III: Gently rub into the skin in sweeping or circular motions until it is absorbed
Note: Don't forget to apply some extra on your décolletage and ears if they are exposed to the sun.
Put sunscreen on first, then your moisturizer. Best to get it right on your clean, dry skin.
Use sunscreen daily. The majority of sun exposure is casual and incidental, meaning you get it walking to the subway or to get lunch or through your office window, say dermatologists.
Apply sunscreen before you go into the sun. Chemical sunscreens need time to be absorbed into the skin to work. So they require a head start of about 20 minutes.
